The Bhainswamata Mandir trust organizes a grand Mela twice a year on Vaishakh Poornima and Magh Poornima. M agh Mela is another big tradition in Bhainswamata temple. A big cattle fair starts from Basant Panchami in the holy month of Magh which concludes on Poornima with a Palki Yatra. Maa travels from the mountain temple to the city t emple where a grand pooja and Aarti are performed. After which the palki is taken back to the mountain temple. Tho usands of devotees come to the temple to take part in the Yatra, pooja, and Aarti. Everything is organized and perfor med under the supervision of higher authorities and police presence.

Chaitra Navaratri, also called Vasantha Navaratri, is the second most celebrated Navaratri, named after vasanta which means spring. It is observed during the lunar month of Chaitra
Magha Navaratri is observed during the lunar month of Magha (January–February). This Navaratri is also known as Gupt (secret) Navaratri.
Ashada Navaratri, also known as Gupta Navaratri, is observed during the lunar month of Ashadha (June–July), during the start of the monsoon season Ashada Navaratri is observed regionally or by individuals.
